Found a timeline of River Song online. God, this show is so trippy. It’s doing my head in just trying to remember it all and force myself to see it from her side and not the Doctor’s.
So where does The Name of the Doctor fit in?

All this time, River thinks the Doctor can’t see what she’s going through. All this time, she thinks that he doesn’t see when it hurts, when she’s scared, or sad, or afraid. But here, the Doctor says: “No, you’re wrong…” Here, he sees her, even when she’s invisible.
